It presents an opportunity to provide an educational and recreational venue with a theme on the functions and values of wetlands.

The Park boasts a 10,000m² Visitor Centre, the Wetland Interactive World, and a 60-hectare Wetland Reserve.

The Wetland Interactive World features a number of themed exhibition galleries, a theatre, a souvenir shop, an indoor play area (swamp adventure) and a resource centre.
